Storekeepers

We are looking for Storekeepers for the platform drilling side of our business.  The successful candidates will work on the UKCS on a 3/3 rotation.

 

The Storekeeper is responsible for ordering equipment and parts as necessary, maintaining adequate inventory, control of the inventory while issuing materials, carrying out stock checks each trip, and maintaining storage areas.

 

Key Duties:

 

  • Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR’s) for inventory parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movement / traceability at all times.
  • Using available resources identify from whom item(s) can be obtained to assist buyer, as well as, parts or equipment identification numbers.
  • When supply vessel arrives and/or helicopter to deliver ordered parts and equipment, be available on deck to verify that all incoming items match requisitions and what is detailed on the manifest. (any deviation to what is on the manifest must be reported immediately).
  • Work and communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor and the Toolpusher to determine specific parts or equipment, which might be needed for an identified task or planned maintenance routine.
  • Maintain material system on a current basis and in the proper and accepted manner including the minimum and maximum balance.
  • When returning rental equipment off hire it must be tagged appropriately in preparation for back-loading on supply vessels for return to the rental companies.
  • Prepare Transport Orders for all equipment removed from rig.

 

The successful candidate must have the following:

 

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • A minimum of 2 years previous storekeeper experience within platform drilling.
  • Hold the minimum certification required to travel offshore.
  • Hold a dangerous goods by sea and air certificate.
